1)  Tenaciousness is a competency.  Behaviors that I have undeniably used as well as developed in order to keep up with the requirements of the course are time-management, communication, and dedication. Since assignments are due at noon on either Friday or Monday afternoons, you have to manage your time effectively - especially depending on the assignment. Several assignments, if not the majority so far, have required conducting interviews. 1. IDPH fines local nursing homes for care violations  Link:  https://www.sj-r.com/news/20200131/idph-fines-local-nursing-homes-for-care-violations  The story: In Springfield, Illinois the  Illinois  Department of Public Health, otherwise known as IDPH, has fined Bridge Care Suites approximately $50,000 for two incidents of failed patient care.  The problem: The problem is that caretakers at the nursing home failed to administer pain medication to one patient and they neglected another  patient's wounds.  Who has the problem:  The patients who are not  receiving  the proper patient care at the nursing home have the problem. These two incident left the patients in terrible condition and pain for over a day.
